Full disclosure - this is an assignment for a Branding Business class I took at Bellevue College as a part of the Graphic Design Certificate Program. We were tasked with redesigning the logo for the city of Maple Valley, WA. Their existing logo is a badge and can only be used as a badge. I wanted to create a much more fluid logo, one that can be identified if presented as a single piece, just text, or just icon. This makes the logo much more versatile.
